I’m a Chicago trained nurse and have led and transformed clinical operations across most inpatient and outpatient settings.  My passion quickly became about care for those with diabetes and chronic conditions.

In 2010, I combined my background and clinical passion and helped create MissionPoint Health Partners, a population health company that is now Ascension Care Management.  I designed a payer agnostic clinical model in the earliest reform years and, as we showed success, we applied for a Medicare Shared Saving Program.  That model was the same base model for care in other populations such as Medicaid and an Exchange product.   As healthcare evolves though, iterations have to be made along the way.

I refined my work in my subsequent role as the Vice President of Clinical Innovation and Quality where I formalized the clinical product and developed and operated the quality program to meet NCQA case management standards.  Through this work, MissionPoint received their first NCQA accreditation for case management and I polished my skills in Performance Improvement including LEAN, A3 and Root Cause Analysis, as well as the interpretation of clinical and quality standards.
